Ron Mckee

Ron's a well known maker of custom rods and handmade plugs. His specialty is hand-made wooden plugs and he offers his lures in a variety of wood species which provide different performance  characteristics. A true New England craftsman, his lures are proudly made in the USA.

Ron's been a featured speaker at many angling shows and events. He's always happy to offer advice and and questions about his tackle and about coastal New England fishing. He's a long-time member of the member of the Martha's Vineyard Surfcasters Association and can often be found fishing on Wasque Point and Katama.
